CREDENTIAL
Credential certifies “pilgrim” status
Pilgrim is one who goes to a place of Christian worship with the intention of strengthening his or her faith and wishes to have an important human and spiritual experience. The Credential commits the applicant to respectful behavior toward those who provide hospitality and those they meet along the way.
Allows access to “Ospitali,” pilgrim reception facilities; allows for discounts where there is an agreement between the operator and the Via Romea Germanica Association.
It shows the place and date of departure and the place and date of arrival, the stamps of the locations encountered and the hospitality facilities, demonstrating the route taken.
It is a valid document for obtaining the certificate of the end of the pilgrimage: the “Testimonium” once we arrive in Rome.
It can only be used by those making the pilgrimage on foot, bicycle or horseback.
This document is issued by the “Via Romea Germanica” Association through the Postal Service upon the pilgrim’s request to the email credenziale@guidaromea.eu
